Lumetta and Lighting Matters teamed up to create a playful and inviting shopping experience with bold statement commercial retail lighting fixtures for Maplewood Mall’s central court. Lumetta built Custom Shadow Box Pendants ranging from four to eight feet in height which included color-changing RGB LED’s. The luminaires are clustered into groups of three and hung at various lengths from coordinating custom canopies. These color-changing LED pendants are a substantial focal point of the space, providing guests with an entertaining showcase of light while they shop.

Garmin’s Corporate Office: Game’s on with Lumetta’s Fun and Decorative Luminaires

When Garmin’s Corporate Office, located in Chanhassen, Minnesota, required a sleek and modern interior design theme, they chose CSM Corporation Architecture to help achieve their visions.

Lumetta’s Double Drum Pendants, 2Tier Drums, Shadow Cylinder Pendants, and Shadow Cube Sconces in beautiful primary colors were specified to play off the industrial look of the facilities. The thoroughly modern statement lighting disperses ambient light and illuminates the office space in a contemporary design that brightens up and gives it a fresh modern look. The minimalist style of the wall sconces adds another dimension to the already surreal surroundings.

Lumetta’s Custom Shadow Drums and Custom Shadow Box Sconces were chosen to be installed in the Lincoln Field, Brown University Geological Sciences Department at Brown University, in Providence, RI.

By retaining the old wood paneling in their thesis delivery and conference room, adding Lumetta’s striking luminaires, and making sure to create space for the plethora of planetary paraphernalia near and dear, Kelly Taylor Interior Design modernized the offices and labs for the department.

In the end, a little bit of old and a lot of new became a great metaphor for what these scientists do every day.

Saint Joseph’s University Utilizes Lumetta’s Custom Ring Pendants for Their Wow-Factor

Saint Joseph’s University’s Maguire Campus, in Philadelphia, PA worked with specifier Metro Architects, of Narberth, PA, and contracted with Lumetta to create their Custom Ring Pendants for Cardinal John P. Foley Campus Center. The adaptive reuse of the space included these incredible luminaires, which ranged in diameter from six to twenty feet and were installed in the auditorium when the 5,000 square foot campus was redesigned.

The Cardinal John P. Foley Campus Center hosts guest speakers, large group presentations, and community gatherings. The Foley Center was part of the original campus for Episcopal Academy, which was acquired by Saint Joseph’s in 2008 and expanded its footprint by 43 acres. It is also the location of Greek Life events for our three fraternities and six sororities on campus.

A Non-Profit Benefits from Lumetta’s Warm Lighting Solutions

Children’s Institute – CII, in Los Angeles, CA is a non-profit agency dedicated to strengthening individual, family, and community capacity for healing, wellness, and success.

The agency offers-quality early education and youth programs, counseling services, parenting support, workforce and community leadership development, and advocacy for community investment.

It was important to the institute to create a safe and welcoming environment for the community. The light fixtures would be the focal point of the space and therefore it was decided that Lumetta would be specified as the lighting vendor for the project.

Horton Lees Brogden Lighting Design selected Lumetta’s Custom Box Surface Mounts with recessed bottom diffusers to bolster the warm and safe atmosphere for the gathering families. Multiple fixtures were fabricated to create a sense of unified sanctuary.

The installation of the cheerful lights introduced a homey feeling within the environment and complemented the agency’s vision for refuge.

Lumetta’s Custom Drum Pendants: A Bright Idea Made to Last

Smith Haven Mall is a 1.4 million square foot, hybrid indoor/outdoor enclosed shopping mall located on the north shore of Long Island in Lake Grove, NY. The shopping complex underwent a renovation to strengthen its market position, attract upscale tenants, and complement other Simon Property Group sites on Long Island.

Improvements would include new flooring materials, ceiling treatments, landscaping, and lighting. SHM wanted a playful lighting solution that would hang in various sizes and lengths from the decorative metal latticework that juxtaposed an enormous centrally located skylight.

The Specifier, The Lighting Practice, Inc. worked with Boston-based architecture and design firm Arrowstreet and chose Lumetta to fulfill the mall’s lighting requirements. We went to work designing and fabricating our Custom Drum Pendants in a primary-colored lighting solution for heightened aesthetics in the mall’s common area.

The luminaires range from 3 to 7 feet in height, with red, yellow, and green outer drums and complimentary white inner drums and remain one of the highlights of the shopping complex.
