Lumetta’s Shadow Drum Luminaires Allow Guidewire Software to See Their Headquarters’ Lobby in a New Light

Guidewire the platform for P&C insurance companies, was looking for a modern and versatile lighting design that would be both creative and unobtrusive, for the lobby of their Worldwide Headquarters in San Mateo-Foster City, CA.

Teaming with specifier Reel Grobman Associates, the software company contracted Lumetta to create a series of 18” Shadow Drum Surface Mounts. The double layered luminaires were fabricated with washable and antimicrobial shades that included an opaque amber-colored Lumenate® inner shade encircled by a transparent TransLumenate® outer shade—creating an intriguing effect and adding character to these contemporary luminaires.

Lumetta’s Shadow Drum Surface Mounts were the perfect complement to the architectural elements within the lobby and set off the minimalist design of the room.
