Release of Lumetta fixtures and materials library for Revit(2015). Because different comtuters and software render colors and images differently, materials in this library are to be considered approximate ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- For use with Revit 2015 or newer. Autodesk recommends storing the materials library on each users local Revit materials library folder. That way it should show up when changing materials/finishes. Unzip the file and store as below. From Autodesk: “To share a material library To share a material library that you created with other users, make the *.adsklib file available to those users by sending it to them. The *.adsk library file is typically located here by default: C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Autodesk Shared\Materials\. Users who want to use this material library can place this file anywhere on their system; however, it is best to place it in this location for consistency.” Typical default Revit 2015 install – Windows 7 – “C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Autodesk Shared\Materials\Lumetta". ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- You need Revit 2015 or newer installed on your computer to view/use the individual fixture files. Individual Revit 2015 files for fixtures can be downloaded from the fixtures web page. They can be stored wherever the user would like to keep them. Once loaded into your project, use the properties tab to change or edit features. Hover help will explain available options in the "Materials and Finishes" pane. Parameters are built as "Instance " parameters. (I.E. if you place 10 of the same fixture into your project you will need to edit each one individually.) These include: 1) Change a diffuser material. 2) Change a frame finish. 3) Change available suspension styles.(Values are 1=STD non-dimming, 2=Dimming, and LED 3=Stem Hung) 4) Change the fixture drop from the ceiling.(Pendants only) 5) Change a cord color (has no affect when a stem is chosen). 6) Select or change whether to have a top and/or bottom lens. 7) Change the top and/or bottom lense materials. The fixture drop can be changed in the "Dimensions" pane. Some fixture also allow you change the height of the fixture itself. NOTE: Changing a fixtures height to something other than our STD fixtures would result in a custom fixture needing to be ordered! ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
